Design process
Bend Dog Boarding is a design concept I created for Lifelearn when they were branching out to pet service website education and design. The intent was to create a modern, typography-focused UX. By doing this, I intended to allow the photos that did appear to stand out since they weren’t used frivolously.
I leveraged asymmetry and typographic hierarchy to guide the user the relevant information down the page, while also trying to lever the ski/mountain aesthetic of the area the business is located.
The vibe was meant to be a ritzy but rustic cabin/mountain cottage. Knowing the market was to allow the client to leverage their brand story and “gush” about their facility and location; being particular about the photos allowing them to better shine throughout the site.
